HELP TO MAKE A DREAM COME TRUE

Hi there!

                 I discovered this site quite by accident. I think it is a wonderful place where folks can network and help each other out in time of need. I am a writer, and I hope to have my first book completed by this Spring. I also have a small part-time job working from home on my computer.

These past three years have been quite painful for me as I have been in an unhealthy marriage. I believe my husband has a mental illness which explains the terrible emotional and physical abuse I had to endore. I am now separated from hom because a few weeks ago he snapped on me and held a knife to my back, All because I refused to watch a horror flick with him. I thank God my 8 year old son was not present to witness this horrifying event. However...he has witnessed me being carried off to jail because my husband scratched himself, called the police and had me arrested. He has had to witness me being called terrible names and my husband calling him names as well .I refuse to have him be a part of our lives any longer. I do have a restraining order, but that does not stop him. If I call the police he threatens to kill me. I thank God he left my home.  I am a good Christian woman and I have a beautiful boy who deserves so much more!! We have had to run and hide and even  leave our home for 7 weeks to stay in a shelter.

My dream is this...to move to Fairbanks, Alaska! Why so far you say? I love Alaska! I wish to live in a log cabin home and Have peace and beauty surround me and my son. I have been through so much in my life. I have experienced so much  emotional pain that I feel it is my time for a Blessing! I see others whose dreams come true, so why not mine?Plus...I will be far from anyone who can hurt me. To make this move will cost me more than I can afford. I will need at least$8,000.00 to do this. I am looking into a possible grant that could pay for this move. I know this is God's will for me and my son. I have no clue why God has planted this in my heart. He told Abram to go, and he didn't even know where he was going? If anyone has any ideas or can help in any way I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you and God Bless you!
